What are the names of these keychain dolls? There is a series of keychain mini bobblehead dolls, with halloween-like themed characters like, the witch, the grim reaper, the devil etc. They are made from a string ball head, felt clothes and wire accessories. How is this series called? No it's not bendies, it's something chinese-o-japanese with K and N in it...weird, my mind is stuck!!

Goat Ropers replied: "Are you talking about "bendies"?"

URGENT! Anyone knows where can i find shops that engraves names on keychain in S'pore? my cousin's birthday is coming soon and i am thinking of getting him a keychain with has his name engraved on it. what pattern/design will u think is suitable for a 15 year old teenage boy? my budget is below $15. may i know if the engraving is done for free or will there be extra charges? by the way, my cousin's name consists of 9 alphabets. Thanks a lot in advance!

Heleen K replied: "You're not gonna get anything consisting of 9 alphabets engraved for $15. I would also suggest forgoing a keychain in favor of something a bit longer ... a ocean liner perhaps."

Smarty Pants replied: "Things Remembered is a store found in many malls. Consider an initial or a monogram....it will be cheaper than his whole name. You may need to make something yourself with such a small budget. Good luck!"

How to make my own name keychain? As you can see, I have a very unique name, I want my own customized name keychain, how can I make one myself?

Erin replied: "Isabella isnt that unique, theres a girl in my class with tons of things of her name and it's Isabella. ANYWAYS; You have to go to like Michael's or Wal Mart and buy a beading kit. They usually come with keychain rings and letter beads. Good luck, have fun :)"

FancyFace replied: "Check out eBay for letter beads with fairly large size holes. Find some leather/waxed cotton cord and a keyring/key-chain jewelery finding. Using two lengths of cord, start with the first thread and the last letter - thread up through each of the beads, through the keyring ring, back through each of the beads - do this again with a second thread (hole size permitting). You should end up with 4 dangling threads out of the last letter and a ring attached near the first letter. Tie all the threads together at the bottom to make a tassle and to stop the beads from slipping off. Add smaller beads to the ends of the individual threads and knot them individually to keep them in place. Much cheaper than buying a kit and totally personalised."

ricksuearmour replied: "Go to Joann Fabrics, WalMart, Hobbytown, etc. You need to purchase a split ring (for the ring part of your key chain), leather cording strips (usually found on a spool or roll), and alphabet beads. You make a U shape with the leather, wrap it around the key ring and pull it back through itself leaving the ends free and the same length. Than just string the beads and tie a knot in the end. We used to make these and put all sorts of names on them. Here's another idea...what about using some of that filo clay and carving your name into it or using two different colors and press your letters made out of one color into the base color. Leave a hole at the top and than tie it to the key ring when it is dried or baked? do they still make shrinky dinks? We used to make buttons and earrings and all sorts of stuff with them."

Using CAD for Laser Cutting names using diff. running hand Fonts on metal n make myself a keychain out of it? There has been a job i want to do from quite some time. It is to cut fonts on 2 or 3 mm thick metal strippes. A name is writen in a font and removed out of the metal piece and is made into a keychain. For this, i think laser or plasma arc cutting is the best. Now i know for sure that they need a .dwg or .dxf file. I tried to use a font on Auocad for cutting directly through cad but the laser guys say that its not right and only the name wont cut. Another option was to import the dwg from coreldraw but the image has to be redrawn in autocad as the 'pedit' option is enabled or something like that which cause the laser to cut in dots even on a straight line. So we have to redraw in arcs, all over the font already set. I desperatly need a solution for this situation. Please help me out with even partial solutions to this scenario. I mainly need to know how to directly use autocad to,writa a name in a running hand font, such that, the laser cuts a name out from metal..

Yoho replied: "I'm not a autocad person but seams like your laser people are being lame. Heck they should be able to program it with there cam software. But if it was me i would just buy an engraving font. Then send them a igs from autocad. If they can't do it by this find a new laser cutting company."

Whats the name of this keychain game? About 5 or more or even less years okay there was this game on a keychain. You were able to take care of a pet. Feed, Clean, Walk, in black and white of course. It cost about $20 I believe. It was really famous when it was out, might still me. Just curious about the name. Thanks.

osprey replied: "the toy you are thinking of is tamogotchi."

Vi replied: "The name is tamagotchi!"

What is the name of the small metal cone that goes on top of a ribbon keychain? A friend of mine has a keychain with several ribbons on it. It is NOT one of those that has just one wide ribbon! It has several different ones and at the top of the keychain they are enclosed in a small ornate silver metal cone. Does anyone what this is called or where I can find one?

CelticDragon replied: "http://www.firemountaingems.com/search.asp?skw=cone It's a cone or cone tip. There are several different sizes and styles available. This site should help. You should also be able to find them at bead stores and some craft stores."
