Help With the sims 2 please!!!!? ok so i downloaded a fairy from the orginal this sims 2 site, and when i create-a-sim and choose an exsiting sim fom sim bin. the fairy does not have wings!!!! Why not? and do they come later when you put them into a house!!! Help please. Thank you

new.grad replied: "I had the sims for a short time, but all these downloads are so complicated! Most of the clothes you will find work, however, hair and wings and wierd add on bits require a mould, or frame or something. I'm not sure how to do this, but the help booklet and website will help you understand this more than I can. Good luck."
mandapotpie replied: "Load the sim and check in the accessories tab. Like where you would find jewelry or glasses. Sometimes the wings end up in there. Also check through the outfits. If it still doesn't show up you might be missing a mesh. Go back to site you downloaded it from and message the creator to see if there is another file you need to download for the wings to show up."
Sims 2 help! Custom Content wont appear *10 points!!!!!*? Okay, so I went on the sims 2 website and downloaded a bunch of sims that had wings or extra stuff attached to them (angels, fairies, and others....)Then i went on the actual sims game and went to "create family" and i went to the sims bin or where you can take all the already created sims and edit them up and all. When i got to the angels, fairies, and others, the wings and other extra stuff appeared in the sim bin, but when i clicked on the sim to edit it, only their outfit appeared, no wings! All of the sims that had extra stuff on them were like this. Why is this? How do i make the wings appear?
Kgem replied: "Some custom content requires expansion packs. (Aside from the orginal) You have to have the expansion pack downloaded in order for the custom content to work. There should be something said about which expansion packs you need in the downloading section for the wings and stuff on the website.

That happens to me sometimes. It seems like it varies. Maybe you can contact the person who created them (maybe they uploaded it incorrectly) or see if other people who downloaded it got it to work. Have you downloaded other sims that have worked before? What about items? Make sure they are in the correct folders.
